The surge fee will allow us to have buffer capacity to support emergency needs of senior citizens and people with kids

Examples of cases where we have been helpful due to the reduced traffic

A quarantined individual that needed rations for his family

A china based NRI that needed groceries shipped to her old parents (where father was a heart patient and both father and mother were over 65 years of age)

A lady with a 72 year old mother in law and a 6 year old daughter that had got all her rations over and was dependent on the delivery for having breakfast

We are proactively working on increasing our capacity so that we can get this surge pricing to the regular free delivery on orders above Rs 500 and Rs 35 on orders below 500.

Further, we are working on getting back to our 60min delivery while minimising the surge pricing and delivering all products, however, the deliveries may be delayed.

We may also not be able to deliver some items. We regret the inconvenience caused.

We are taking all measures recommended by WHO to keep our facilities and services well sanitised

This includes frequent sanitisation of the work areas, washing and sanitisation of hands of all delivery executives and operations staff.
